In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, the importance of digital skills cannot be overstated. The COVID-19 pandemic further underscored the necessity of these skills, and young people faced the challenge of adapting to a digital world, with some falling behind. Recognizing this issue, the Youth Entrepreneurship Club and Bistita Bussiness Academy have taken a proactive approach to empower youth workers and trainers through the Erasmus+ Project DigiYouth.
The project comprises three key activities:
1. Creation of the Educational Guide: A comprehensive guide tailored explicitly for youth trainers, providing them with the tools to effectively train young people in digital competencies.
2. Training of Trainers: Ensuring that youth workers and educators are well-equipped to use the educational guide and effectively transfer their knowledge to young people. The activity will take place in Tripoli, Greece.
3. Pilot Phase with Young People: Implementing training sessions based on the guide with young participants to enhance their digital skills and resilience. The activity will be taking place in the city of Bistrita in Romania.
The ultimate goal of this project is to foster digital competence, resilience, and entrepreneurship among young people, helping them adapt to the digital world and succeed in the job market.
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and the Institute of Life-Long Learning (INEDIVIM)
