Fundraising Manager
As a Fundraising Manager at YEC you will work closely with your colleagues at our Head Office in Chania for approximately five hours per week.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct our fundraising strategy to raise money and other donations
- Design promotional materials
- Increase the awareness of the YEC’s work, goals and financial needs
- Research for prospective donors
- Identify and contact potential donors
- Create a strong fundraising message
- Maintain records of donor information for future use
- Evaluate of the success of previous fundraising projects
- Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied
Obligatory Skills & Experience:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in management, entrepreneurship, business or in a relevant field
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to work both individually and in a team
- Result driven and creative thinking
- Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment
- Enthusiasm
- Self-confidence
As an asset:
- MSc/MA in management, entrepreneurship, business or in a relevant field
- Knowledge of another European language
- Interpersonal skills
